Assalāmu ‘Alaykum — Dear Parents/Carers,
I am pleased to inform you that on Friday 26th February 2021, Redstone Academy had an Ofsted Post Monitoring Inspection, the focus was on the unmet standards which were identified in the previous November 2019 Inspection.
By the grace of Allāh, the Inspection went well and the Inspector was very pleased with the improvements that have been made at the school. However, not all of the Independent School Standards were met due to the segregation of boys and girls. The school is working closely with the Department for Education (DfE) to resolve this issue, the discussions with the DfE in this regard are very promising. The success in the Post Monitoring Inspection was crucial for the Registration of the Girls only school.
Note: Please read the report in light of what has been mentioned regarding the matter of segregation which impacted the overall outcome ‘The school does not meet all of the Independent school standards that were checked during this inspection.’ All the other standards have been met Alhamdulillāh. If the Preregistration of the Girls school is successful, it will result in all the independent schools standard being met, Inshā’Allāh.
We like to take this opportunity to thank the school community for their ongoing support. May Allāh grant us success in this life and the Hereafter, Āmīn.
Wa ‘Alaykum Salām.
